If you are reading this, odds are you are a parent of a UK student, or are a UK student hoping your parents will get you out of the dorm before the fall semester starts. Let's get some basics out of the way: **This is a BARGAIN for a 2 bedroom condo. **It is on the edge of campus so walking to class is easy. **You get one assigned parking spot PLUS one in the general parking lot, saving you the cost and hassle of getting a UK permit. **The $220/month dues covers water, sewer, internet and trash. You only have your personal electric bill. **The building is secure. **Indoor and outdoor bike racks. **Lots of food, entertainment and shops within a 2 minute walk and a 15 minute walk to downtown/Rupp Arena. (Students-if your parents are on the fence about buying a condo for you, let them know they can stay here occasionally for UK games and use your extra parking spot!) Now that we have that out of the way, let's talk about what makes this building so cool. It is a legit loft conversion. This was the Liggett & Myer Tobacco Warehouse. It was built in 1904 and retains much of its OG patina and charisma.

The lockbox is on a handrail along the brick wall to the left of the red side entry door. Lockbox number is 65. To enter building, place the key fob near the electronic box by the door & press the tab on the fob. This unlocks the door. Unit 147 is on the bottom floor. It can be tricky to find the stairs from upper level. You may choose to enter another exterior door using the key fob. The one on the back of the building & on the South Upper side of the building go directly to the bottom level.
